Hi Jerry...
a 1977 Forty Mark Plus II Seagull, #GFP 2310BB7. Although the specs in the sales brochures don't show it, my motor does have a clutch.<<
Seagulls have been modified by the factory, a knowledgable dealer...or even the owner himself. They're basically a simple engine. The clutch model should be GFPC 2310 BB7, so it may have been added later. My M-55, a 1992 model, has TSEFPC 358 A12 on it...yet it is a long shaft model, modified by the dealer/servicer that I bought it from. It should be stamped TSEFPCL. Personally, I think that they are great engines, but like old English MG's and Triumph motor cars...they're not for everybody. Harvey/ Ga M-17 Stargazer #294
