The following was the response I got for shipping a 20 ft boat from England to the US.  It was based on using a 40 ft container as the 20 ft containers are becoming rare.  It included the trailer but the cost was a combination of the weight and container size with the biggest effect the container size.   "Just to let you know that a 40ft container to Baltimore from the UK will cost £1850.00".  This is just shy of $3000.
