Hi Paul, I installed an adjustable topping lift on my M15. I took a strip of stainless steel sheet metal I had in my scrap box and drilled a hole in each end. The first hole matched the size of the clevis pin going through the aft mast sheave. There was enough slop in the clevis pin installation that the stainless steel strap easily fitted in there. Just remove the ring; slide on the strap with block; and reinstall the ring, and the job is done. On the other end of the strap, I installed a small swivel Harken block. I added a cleat to the mast on the starboard side. A cleat with a hole in the center web would be handy so that you can tie the tail end of the topping lift to the cleat, and don't risk loosing it if it slips out of your hand. The topping lift itself is 1/8" Dacron line, tied to the outhaul fitting on the boom. Make the 1/8th" line long enough so that you have enough of a tail for easy use. After several uses you may decide to cut some off, but that is preferable to trying to find a line stretcher in your tool box. Can't live without a topping lift. Connie M15 #400 LEPPO Glastonbury, CT
