Sean: Would it be OK if a non boat owner shows up. Maybe a sail one day and some comaraderie is all I ask. If you remember, I spent a night at your house on a PGR funeral mission. Sandy, Remember? Of course I remember! And YES!! You are welcome to attend as much or as little of the event as you like. I'd offer you a room, but you got beat out this time. We already have a house full booked up. But yes, by all means come join us. If you are a definite, let me know. On the web site, the page called "who's attending" has a section listing those that are coming with AND without boats. It'll be great to see ya! Sean
So I have my 350lb center board hanging in the garage and have turned it a lovely color of blue with fairing compound, but I have a question about what looks like a fiber glass bushing that was in the pivot pin hole. I thought I was pounding out a metal bushing with my ratchet head but when part of the bushing came out it is definitely fiber of some sort. Anyone else ever see this on their center boards or know what the genesis is? Any advice on what to replace it with? I am thinking of trying to machine a metal replacement but would be fine with an easier solution. I will post some pictures for any of you that have an interest at http://picasaweb.google.com/110938325409185510143/M23?authkey=Gv1sRgCJqUgPz3... Thanks Robbin M23 (grounded), M10 Tonka
