Hi Dale, I do not know how much TLC is worth, but you may want to check into what other boats go for today. In 2001 my boat was appraised for $3500+ without the trailer. (The surveyor said he was qualified to inspect boats, not trailers.) No lights, no anchor, no boarding ladder, no furling, no head and an ancient 2hp outboard best suited for ground tackle. The owner wanted $3400 and $50 a month for storage until I could pick it up. I thought I got a great deal. You may also want to list it on the Trailer Sailor Classified: http://www.trailersailor.com/forums/classifieds/index.cgi That is where I found mine. The owner said he had four serious inquiries, after no calls from a $75 ad in the Houston paper. Good luck! Steve R. M-15 #119 Lexington, KY --- Dale Williams <dalew@arvig.net> wrote:
I am selling my 1981 M-15, hull #185. She is a sound boat, but cosmetically could use some tlc. Comes with loose footed main and roller furling jib, 4 hp mariner longshaft outboard, new plate steel centerboard made in fall 2001, danforth style anchor with chain, boarding ladder, running lights, porti-potty, and galvanized trailer with spare. Asking $2600. Please email me directly for pictures or further information.
