Steve, On my M15 I have two - about 12" x 12" long foam "logs" up forward. Under the cockpit floor are more 12" x 12" foam pieces that take up a considerable amount of usable space. Your's should have the same. If not, add them; or put in inflatable bladders anything (+) is better than (-)! Happy New Year, and lots of enjoyment with your M15.
