Jim, I think I would like to go along to Santa Cruz Island, if we can find someone who has made the passage and/or has some experience. I have to wonder about sailing from Santa Barbara. Every time I have walked the beaches in that area, there was always tar in the water from 'Natural Seepage' and/or leaking off-shore oil wells. Messy! I think there is a Potter group that sails from LA to Catalina every year, which is another option for an ocean trip. Bob Becker M15 #208

Has anyone made the trip? How long did it take?

I would like to find other M15 etc that might want to go along.
