I've had some health issues lately and will be having both knees replaced in September. so I've decided to sell Walkabout. She is a 1978 Montgomery 23, serial #002. Walkabout is located in Southern Maryland, on the Potomac River about 1.5hrs south of Washington, D.C. New stop pin for centerboard installed; swing pin was ok. Rudder removed, sanded, and varnished. Hull cleaned and painted. Rigging checked and tuned. Replaced outboard water pump and tune. What she needs: Teak cleaned and treated Deck painted New Sunbrella covers for mainsail and tiller Hatch boards need refinishing New Trailer - Old trailer available but needs complete overhaul Cushions are serviceable but could be replaced Bulkhead around portals needs painting due to leaks - portals are now sealed.
