I'm kinda skeptical about the two position crutch because moving the crutch to the "high" position would be more work than just lifting the mast in the first place
I have a metal tubing mast crutch that has two positions, and find it rather useful. The mast on the 15 is so light that it isn't so much lifting the weight as a matter of crowd control -- getting the mast into a convenient position with fewer things wrapped around it. BTW: I'm not happy with the tubing. It tends to bend, and when I get round to it I'm thinking of making something heavily influenced by a 2x4.
