Hi Gang, I just finished reading The Saga of Cimba, by Richard Maury. It's one of The Sailor's Classics and a great book for any small boat sailor. Especially if you dream of someday leaving this snowy country and setting sail for new horizons. It is a true story that takes place in 1933 when small boats were rare beyond their home ports and places like Tahiti were not ruined by the influx of tourists and their money. Very well written. Maury has the soul of a poet. Unfortunately, it is the only book he ever wrote and he died in 1998. Larry Y.
