Hi Todd, Looks like I'm one of the few still using the original motor mount that Jerry built. However, I'm using an older 4-stroke (1985 Honda BF-10) that weighs in at 75lbs. I tried another bracket, a Fulton rated to 100 lbs, and it worked well going up and down (spring assist), but the offset distance from the end of the transom was too narrow. Thus, when the motor was raised, it would not tilt forward far enough to get the prop out of the water while sailing. I took it off, sold it to Doug K , and went back to the stocker. Sean's works great, I've seen it in action. Good luck, Bones ____________________________________________________________ How to Sleep Like a Rock Obey this one natural trick to fall asleep and stay asleep all night. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/517684158e4d54157611st02vuc
