Hello John, I have a dropboard made of Starboard for the lowest board on my M23. The top two I had made by a carpenter friend working at my wife's shop. I simply said to make them out of any nice, solid hardwood he could find. He made me a pair out of African Lymba. I had never even heard of it. Beautiful, and have held up to the elements. Water pools slightly on the top of the bridgedeck on the M23, thus the lower board edge was always getting wet. This accelerated rot. The Starboard eliminated that issue.
