Dave, Thanks for the confirmation on sailing with jib alone. I also messed around with the sheet blocks (tracks on teak) to see if there was performance difference. I found putting them far forward took the twist out of the top of the jib, so she sailed closer and faster, at least with these wind conditions. (been reading the Annapolis Book of Seamanship on reading/tweaking the sail by looking at the shape and telltales,..... need a lot mare practice). I'll be interested to see if she will perform the same with less wind speed. Last week is the closest the boat has ever sailed to the wind. Hey, great website and videos!
