Hi there, I?ve wanted, for the last few years, to see a Montgomery 15 in person. I?ve not been in a rush to purchase a new boat as I sail a Ranger20?also with the real estate market in flux (as I?m an appraiser) I?ve been careful with my spending. However, I was fortunate to stumble on a very nice M15 yesterday named ?Little Wing? at a local lake here in Northern California. It had two lines that are running from the bow that appears to be a jib down haul running to the cockpit. I understand one of the lines would pull the jib down my question is what does the other line do? I?m hoping to purchase a M15 later this year, after I sell my Ranger 20 this spring. All the photos on the MSOG site are great but?after seeing ?little wing? in person. I?m convinced that a Monty 15 new or pre-owned is the boat I will retire with. Thanks for your input? Christian
