I'm wondering if I should extend my trailer extension on the ramp or extend it when I am rigging the boat (M 15) and back down to the ramp with it extended. I rig my boat on a flat parking lot about 20 feet above and 200 feet or so from the water. As I only launch my boat once a year so I don't have much experience. I've done both and have been nervous both times. Thanks for the advice, Willy Gorrissen Lula M 15 606
Willy: Based in your hull number guessing he trailer is a Pacific with an integrated tongue extension. Rick: As your trailer is older confirm the condition of the welds where the trailer frame meets the tongue. If all looks fine (no cracked welds, cracked frame(s) or excessive rusting) you are good for extending the tongue for short runs from the rigging area to the boat launch. :: Dave Scobie :: M6'8" #650 :: SV SWALLOW - sv-swallow.com :: former owner M17 #375 SWEET PEA - m17-375.com :: former owner M15 #288 SCRED - www.freewebs.com/m15-named-scred/ On Sat, Jun 22, 2019, 1:54 PM Willy Gorrissen <gorrissen@hotmail.com> wrote:
