I got the photo, thanks! Very interesting because the "Sunflower" article shows a knife with about 5" of blade that went in and out vertically through a slot next to the CB trunk. That could only happen if there was a hole through the hull into the water side of the trunk! No wonder there was a leak. The cavity looks easy to fill. I think I'll cut a 1" diameter hole just forward of the CB trnuk, tilt the trailer tongue up, and fill the aft half, then down for the forward pour. It helps knowing I'm not the only guy who tears his boat up, only to rebuild it again! Thanks again for your helpful response!
