Hi Don, My STOP&SHOP supermarket sells romaine lettuce / celery / and a few other things held together with a Velcro strip. I saved them and have been using them on the boat for the past few years. When trailering to Lake Champlain from CT, I use them to hold stays and halyards in place, and they do a great job. Now you can buy 30 foot rolls of this Velcro strip from Lee Valley Tools for about $4.-. They sell it for supporting plants. It's a great item on a boat! Connie
