Another good reason not to have a jib furler. Bill, can one be made one from a spinaker? I have no need or desire to mess about with a spinaker on my boat and I just removed most of the hardware needed to fly one. The drifter looks much easier to handle than a spinaker. Can you provide measurements? Thanks, Rick Langer M15 #337
Rick, I don't have the measurements, and the sail is on the boat. Kern made the sail. He knows the M-boats well and doesn't need measurements. The halyard block is mounted a few inches above the jib sheet halyard block. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+wriker=mindspring.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+wriker=mindspring.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Rick Langer Sent: Sunday, May 15, 2005 12:53 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Storm Petrel's Drifter Another good reason not to have a jib furler.
