Re: M_Boats: cooking on a M 15
I have an MSR for backbacking, but I find the design of most lightweight stoves too tippy for a boat. The Origo is a big whopping boxy thing. Never have to worry about it falling over. Larry Y. has something that pivots on a mounted plate. Maybe he'll chime in... t
Oh yeah! I got one of those real nifty gimbaled stainless steel ones that swings on a mounting plate, when I was first outfitting the boat, so I could cook while I was sailing! Yeah! Yeah, right. I never use it. I barely cook when I'm anchored. I took it off the boat last week. I cook my Jiffy Pop over a cheap one burner propane stove. Larry
And that Jiffy Pop was very good, thaks for cooking it Larry! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry E Yake" <leyake@juno.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 14, 2009 6:55 PM Subject: Re: M_Boats: cooking on a M 15
