Dear Fellow Monty Owners and Admirers, Our new M15 "Spirit" is now fully furnished with sails and cushions. The sails arrived by UPS last week and Bob Eeg drove the cushions down to us on Sunday evening (thank you Bob, that was a very nice thing to do). Sails and cushions are both of very high quality. We still need to varnish the teak. Bob has recommended an oil-based polyurethane called "Defthane," and it does appear to be a good sealer/finish that is also pretty easy to apply. We just have to decide between Satin and Semigloss! We have a 2008 Honda 2 hp four stroke on order, and I am about to install flotation under the cockpit and in the forward part of the hull under the liner (through the forward-most storage hatch). These projects are labors of love, of course; and as I'm retiring in a few days, I'll have more than enough time to do them. Will keep you all posted on her first launch, which is probably a couple of weeks away. Regards, Ron C. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Shape Yahoo! in your own image.
