RE: M_Boats: M-15 trailering
Hank- a suggestion If you would consider sending a copy of the keel project with photos to the web site it could be put up under the "How To" section. http://msog.org/ Randy Watkins M15#194

I installed keel guides on my 1989 Trail-Rite over the Christmas holidays. Materials used were bunk boards, bunk carpeting and a few brackets for the installation. They were easy to make and install. I've been out sailing 4 times since and they function perfectly. They are low enough to allow the bow of the boat to clear them easily, but they center the keel every time. I have 3 or 4 pictures (with the boat off of the trailer) that are detailed enough for you to copy the design. If your interested I can mail them to you. Here is my version of the keel guide. Four uprights from a trailer store with 4'' wide u-bolts. A section of pvc and a few small bolts. Purchased parts were $40. I'll adjust it the first time I launch. I don't know if the picture will transmit to the list but I'll try. Also one on the port side. Thanks for the assistance on this project.
