RE: M_Boats: The bow chock discussion continues...
I removed a section of the toe rail. If you want to know more, email me offline. t Tom Smith & Jane Van Winkle Sandpoint, Idaho M15-345, Chukar M17-064, Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: Rusty Knorr [mailto:mazemusic@yahoo.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 21, 2003 7:46 PM To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats Subject: M_Boats: The bow chock discussion continues... Connie, your encouragement is much appreciated. Dik Lang(M-17) lent me a copy of one of their books and it was wonderful. I will search one out and proceed educated and without trepidation! One question to you and the list...when removing the forward part of the teak toe rail to make room for the chocks, did you take off the entire rail and re-bed it or just remove the area you needed to remove. I would hate to remove the entire rail! If not, what did you use to cut the teak with and how did you avoid damaging the deck in the process? Thank you!!! -Rusty M-15, still unnamed... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
