There are some TH Marine hatches on the same WM catalog page as the Bomar hatches. Here is their web site: http://www.thmarine.com/ They have hatches, hatches with locking latches, and drop in boxes to fit the hatch openings. The boxes are 6 1/2 inches and 10 1/2 inches deep. They also have locking flush-mounted latches. I can not make out the dimensions on the web site, but they fit in a 2 3/8 inch hole. The small hatch is the roughly the same size as the Bomar hatch Connie used. (I too was under the impression that you mounted your hatch vertically Connie.)
