My M-17 has no foam flotation installed but I wonder if the stock empty water tank under the cockpit sole offers a little "lift". I suppose an owner could fill it with the spray expanding foam. Something like GreatStuff Spray foam? That could very well seal any possible leaks and create a nice mount for my battery...
