Bo, These pictures show two reef points but it works for one as well. http://www.funtigo.com/dkelch?b=215326&p=start&c=1802951 Process is as follows: 1)heave to with boom end 1 - 2 ft off of the stern quarter. a)prep things (free boom vang pressure) 2)lower the main (assumes you have a topping lift) a)hook the reef tack to the hook/tie the new tack down if no hook(re-reeve the downhaul through the reef tack cringle) b)hoist the main nice and tight (keeps tension on the tack hook while you reef the clew) 3)Pull in the jiffy reefing line on the clew nice and tight and cleat off. a)coil up jiffy reefing line(s)and tuck them away 4)tie off mid main reefing lines to hold up the fold in the sail 5)end the heave to and continue sailing.
