very important question, on pre 1986 17-M How does the cockpit floor hold on to the centerboard trunk assembly and the hull.. Is there a space under the liner or does the liner sit or is glued directly to the hull. I have found a tiny amount of water dipping and can not seem to find exactly where it came from. It seems to be coming from under the floor between the galley slide and the quarter berth, but???? It may be just water left over from sailing spray, But I would sure like to see under that cockpit flooring, Can a inspection plate be inserted just in front of the center board trunk on the flooring. And last, Is the liner, part of the stiffness needed in the hull and deck structure, if the galley part was removed would the rest stay put or be loose and need re gluing (epoxy) in place Mike
