I don't have a launch checklist yet, but something I learned the hard way is that hot trailer light bulbs don't do well when they hit the water. So my first item for the list is disconnect the wire harness before doing any setup so the bulbs cool off and aren't activated when backing into the water. On retrieval I've decided to put the headstay clevis pin and ring in my pocket as oppose to lying on the deck. In sailing three time I lost one pin and two rings. One time they both stayed aboard for the ride home, but that didn't help me learn the lesson. Rick Langer M15 #337
