Please read the reports posted earlier at Lattitude 38 - additional details/facts are in the previous stories. I believe the sailboat was all but still in the water. Lights on and the Powerboat (Deputy Sherrif of local gov.) hit the sailboat at approx 45 to 60 MPH. I am unsure if the man charged was actually sailing or was the person nearest the helm as the owner had gone below. Charge em both at the same time why should the PBoat operator get the 'break'?
