For what its worth and for the person keeping track of such things, I have always used a two burner traditional Coleman on my boats. You can cook anything you want with few limitations. On the 17 it is always used in the cockpit and sits quit nicely on the fuel locker lid. A pot on the stove will always move before the stove does. I just replaced my old antique with a new version and am happy to report the new one works very well. I like this kind of stove enough to even drag one along when motorcycle touring (as long as there is at least two bikes) and always when car tripping. Downside, they are noisy...rattle like hell....and a little big. I have always considered a Coleman stove to be a luxury travel item. Note: I draw the line at taking this unit backpacking....I do have a lightweight folder for this.....~:0)
