Fiddle Blocks: I recently bought some fiddle blocks for a vang from: http://www.sailorman.com/barton.htm He (they?) had been selling some items on e-Bay. Nice price and quick delivery. They may be overkill but they have snap shackles for quick on and off. If I were to change my main sheet I would lean toward the method used on this WWP: http://trailersailor.com/forums/potterarchives/index.cgi?read=6874 The first entries in that thread show a fiddle block on the bridle. I like the Harken 291 stainless block better than the Ronstan plastic block, although the Harken is a little more expensive. However, I think I would still want to be able to run the sheet forward and down to a removable block and cleat in the traditional location. Steve R. M-15 #119 Lexington, KY
