I sail Miss T on a large freshwater lake that, during the summer anyway, has a fair number of night time fishing. There are a lot of boats passing to and fro at much less than 2 miles, often at a couple hundred yards or even less. The only complaint I have heard from any of the fisermen about the height of my nav lights is that they sometimes think my lights are much farther away. No one has ever complained they couldn't see them. John
