Notice - Registration closes at midnight Wednesday 1/13/2016 - get it in there if you are racing! forwarded from AzYC post : What do you want for your Birthday Regatta? You can’t have too many parties —there's going to be one at Spinnaker Point Friday night and another at Dillon’s at the marina Saturday night. There will be food and drink and live music. And you can bid on the gifts you’ve always wanted at the silent and live auctions Saturday night. There’s all that and racing, too, in 1-, 2-, and 3-day formats around marks and islands. Registration closes at midnight Wednesday. John Riddell reports that we'll be served BBQ by the new Dillon’s restaurant in the marina. BBQ is their specialty: pulled pork, bone-in chicken, and beef brisket, with sides of coleslaw, mac & cheese, and BBQ beans. They'll also prepare a veggie lasagna as a veggie option. The Cardinals game will be showing on all 11 televisions with Leukemia Cup auction at about halftime. Later: a band. The AYC Board and a lot of volunteers are working to make this year’s Birthday Regatta a great event. Celebrate your yacht club. Support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Your Birthday Regatta only happens once a year, so sign up, show up, and, bottoms up. It’s going to be a blast! I look forward to seeing you there, Chris Smith, Commdore forwarded by GO
