So I WOULDN'T want the 5200 bond?
5200 is for underwater bedding. It will cure while wet. Boat Life cures without water and doesn't get hard. It CAN be removed, although it's still a tough product. Sandy
So 5200 is not for deck hardware because it dries hard, or because it has to be wet to set? ----- Original Message ----- From: Sandyal55@aol.com To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2003 7:57 PM Subject: Hardware Mounting / Level In a message dated 3/18/2003 5:46:28 PM US Mountain Standard Time, chonshell@ia4u.net writes: So I WOULDN'T want the 5200 bond? 5200 is for underwater bedding. My $0.02-worth . . . I hope the new addressee, "For and about Montgomery Sailboats", is meant to discourage, for instance, pornographic web-links (And what that HELL was THAT about, anyway??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully an unfortunate addressee mistake and not a total absense of good judgement.), but not contributions from Potter-yachters, Com-Pac sailors, Sea Pearl sailors, or ex-Monty owners who audit the posts because the content is excellent and potentially valuable to all sailors. Please accept my very sincere apology: I am guilty of participating in some very inane off-topic exchanges and, despite my loquatious nature, am trying to curb my number of even on-topic posts. But I hope I'm not alone in welcoming non-owner Monty-list auditors that participate because they're pocket-yacht afficionados or appreciate the generic sailing wisdom to be gleaned from many Monty-owner contributors. Anyway, this and $1.50 might buy a decent cup of Starbucks.
