Hi Scott, Your comments are right on the target. When I said, I reach hull speed at about 1/2 throttle on the 2 HP Honda, I should have added the qualifier: calm conditions - no wind or waves: and a boat not loaded down, like yours, for a long cruise, and with a maximum of two adults aboard. Fully loaded in cruise condition changes the equation, the immersion, and the throttle position! Connie
