Looking for a used M17 can be challenging. Just about any that you buy used will need some work, unless someone has completely gone through the boat recently, which is possible, but then you'll pay a lot more. Hard to beat, especially if you can sail her now. sal '86 M15 "Justus" In a message dated 5/20/2014 11:14:50 A.M. She's in ok but not great shape. No major problems that I can find. Centerboard has been dropped, sanded and epoxied. Boat is dirty and has some cushions but they really don't fit. She comes with a ok trailer, new lights and bearings. Boat has electric system missing. 4 hp 2-stroke johnson. Am I a idiot for buying her? I just want to find out if it suits me better that my 15. Thanks, Ches
