Re: M_Boats: Puget Sound Montgomery 15s Available For Sale?
Henry, 1985, but by the time it was shipped to the dealer and I persuaded my credit union to finace it, the title and registration indicate 1986. Look at the last 2 digits of the hull serial number, located in the upper righthand corner of the transom, those digits indicate the year of manufacture. Also, the sail numbers of the early Montgomery boats indicate the sequence of building, mine was the 335th that Jerry built. What year is your Montgomery 15? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: stevetrapp@q.com To: henry_s_stewart@hotmail.com CC: montgomery_boats@xmission.com Subject: Re: M_Boats: Puget Sound Montgomery 15s Available For Sale? Date: Thu, 20 Jun 2013 15:18:16 -0700 Puget Sound has many, many inlets and bays and islands that are good for cruising and gunkholing, and sight seeing because it is situated between the Cascade Mountains and Olympic Mountains with vistas of several snow covered peaks, along with vistas of the Seattle waterfront and other cities. However, a navigation concern are the ferries, which are a principle means of public transportation in the area. And no, I did not get a commission from the chamber of commerce for the above paragraph, I like the area, and live here by choice. Steve M-15 # 335 ----- Original Message ----- From: Henry S. Hi, Steve, Thanks very much for responding and for sending the photo of your boat. It looks very nice and well-situated in a very nice marina. It is great to be in contact with people across the country about such great boats. I have heard that Puget Sound is a great place to sail. Best wishes, Sincerely, Henry ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: stevetrapp@q.com To: henry_s_stewart@hotmail.com CC: montgomery_boats@xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Montgomery 15s Available For Sale? Date: Thu, 20 Jun 2013 14:35:47 -0700 Henry, Perhaps your interest in M-15s extends to a recent photo an M-15? This photo of my M-15 at a marina on Puget Sound in Washington State may give you an idea of what an M-15 looks like. It is not for sale, I plan to continue to enjoy it, and it is located across the country from you, but I thought you might be interested in a photo.
