Hey all. Just curious if anyone knows of a lug rigged M15. I think it would be a fun experiment! Not sure if the mast placement would work though. Thoughts? Rusty M15 “Vanilla”
It might work w/o moving the mast if you could extend the fwd part of the sail (the part of the sail that extends fwd of the mast) enough to balance it out. Send me your address and I'll send you a sailplan so you can draw the new rig on top of the regular sloop and see if you can do it and keep the CE in the same place. Maybe Doug Kelch will have something to say- he build a gaffer. Also, Google the Sagecat; it has a simple fathead rig that works like a dream; I consider it the best boat I've ever done. -----Original Message----- From: Rusty Knorr via montgomery_boats Sent: Saturday, March 09, 2019 11:57 AM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Rig experimenting Hey all.
