anyone willing to show me their M-15 in Annapolis area?
Hi guys. I am thinking about buying a new Montgomery 15. I have read a lot about them, including lurking on this list for a few years, but have never been able to see one. I plan to attend the Annapolis Sailboat Show on October 4th. Does anyone on this list live in that area and have an M-15 they'd be willing to show me? A sail on the boat would be phenomenal if you're willing but even just a chance to see one, sit in the cockpit and cabin, share useful tips and advice, etc would educate me tremendously. If anyone would be willing/able to help me out I'd be eternally grateful! All the best, ++Brian
Brian, I don't know where you live. Does your mention of Annapolis mean you live on the east coast. We're in the midwest and would be happy to show you our like-new 1993 Montgomery 15. Kent On Sep 13, 2012, at 12:22 PM, Brian Burton wrote:

Thanks Kent. I appreciate the generous offer! Unfortunatly I live in Maryland around 3 hours from the Chesapeake Bay so you're probably quite too far away for me to visit. I didn't explain myself well but my hope was that maybe someone in the Annapolis area would be able to show me their boat while I am down that way for the boat show. It's a long shot but I thought it was worth a try. Of course if someone within a few hours was generous enough to show me their boat on some other day I'd be happy to make a trek to see it. I could probably drive somewhere in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey or (maybe) Ohio or Virgina on a weekend. Anywhere farther afield would be out of reach for me in the near future due to work constraints. Thanks again! All the best, ++Brian On Sep 13, 2012, at 4:47 PM, Kent Richmond wrote:

Hi Brian, I have my M-23 about an hour south of Annapolis at Breezy Point MD. It would not be any substitute to seeing an M-15 in person (fabulous boat, had one a while back) but if you would like to chat or sail let me know. My wife and I are targeting the 4th to attend the show as well. If you want we could chat there and I do make it a point to stop in at Buddys Crab and Ribs when in Annapolis so that is another option! Robbin On 9/13/2012 1:22 PM, Brian Burton wrote:

Hi Robbin. That sounds like a lot of fun and would be a huge help to me. Unfortunately I just found out that Friday is the 5th not the 4th. Can a person who can't read a calendar actually sail a boat? :-) Thanks again and if you wind up there on Friday instead let me know and we can get together so you can tell me your sailing stories. Btw just wanted to clarify that it was me I was joking about not being able to read a calendar. I plan to be there on Friday, not Thursday and I originally got the date wrong. Sorry for all of the confusion. :-( All the best, ++Brian On Sep 13, 2012, at 19:08, Brian Burton <brian@burtonzone.com> wrote:

Brian, I have a M-15 that you can look at if you want. I live in Carroll County about an hour from the Bay Bridge. Contact me off-list if you want to arrange a meeting. Skip On Sep 13, 2012, at 1:22 PM, Brian Burton <brian@burtonzone.com> wrote:
