Hi Listers, Gary's charger details I find to be accurate from my experience. I have a 1985 Honda 4 stoke 10hp and a 1995 Mariner 2 stroke 8hp, both with alternators, which have been used on my M23. Neither will put much of a charge into your batteries unless they are revving at a good clip. If not in a slip with shore power, I have a Goal Zero 30 watt solar briefcase with a built-in regulator. If the sun is strong, she brings the battery right up. Positioning is critical. My opinion is to minimize your DC load and go solar.
