Joe, Larry and Listers, Joe found a link at Defender for the Sterns Kayaks. Mine is most like the "Colorado Rio" model Part # 454089. There are also some pictures in the Monty Photo Site under M17 boats and "Bonita". There is a pic of me in my kayak and a photo of it deflated and stored in the cockpit under the tiller while underway. The kayak is very roomy and stable, but I would hate to paddle it against a strong current or head wind. Bones, But... having said that you "would hate to paddle it against a strong current or head wind", would you recommend it over a regular inflatable dinghy or the mini-dinghy from West Marine?? It seems they can be pretty tough to row in a chop, wind or current. I had a West Marine (Zodiak) R240 inflatable that I thought would be too big for Seafrog. I sold it along with my NS27. I'm wondering if maybe I should have kept it. I still have the British Seagull outboard. I also have a short sit on kayak and if I can figure out a way of bringing it along I might try it.
