Great experience Robbin! Thanks for sharing. We have a boat building class offered by the North House school in Grand Marais, Mn on Lake Superior. My cousin is involved in the school and a few years back, I sat in on an evening class where they were streaming planks and fastening them in place with copper nails. Cool stuff indeed. I also have had the luck of being in Lake Union while their wooden boats were on display. I wish I was better with woodworking. 8 degrees here in Mpls.
