That's the thing, Tod... Eeg won't give me a hull number! I suppose that way, he can point to what ever boat is halfway done and say "your's is over there!" At the beginning of this "deal" I requested and he agreed ( he agress to everything but does not comply) to send the origination papers for the soon to be built boat (since I technically paid up front) but has never come through. That's wht I always sign the e-mail with the boats name and hull # ??? Chuck
Ah, the Eeg shuffle. Got caught up in that last spring/summer. I did finally get the boat, not finished the way I asked, and only because I drove from Denver to get it, but I got it. Sorry to hear that you paid up front. Pete LVLakeSailor@aol.com wrote:

Pete Didn't know you were caught up in a Shuffle. Because: 1. Your beautiful Montgomery 15 was built on time and on budget. (finished a week before your requested date) 2. When you drove in from Colorado to pick her up, she was parked out front on the trailer ready to go. 3. I did spend the morning rigging and going over the set-up procedure with you, as I do with everyone who drives in to pick up their boat. (see Vince and Sharon pick up their boat at http://personal.palouse.net/vhimsl) We did the same for you. If I recall you wanted all lines led aft but I didn't want to drill holes in the deck before being sure about it. We didn't do it and we didn't charge you anything extra. Is that what you mean by "not finished the way I asked"? Sorry, but I just didn't want to start mounting deck hardware and turning blocks in the wrong spot. Better safe than sorry. Your statement, "I did finally get the boat,...I drove from Denver to get it, but I got it"...... implys something ominous. Quoting from your first letter to me: Bob, Enclosed is my deposit for a Montgomery 15 to be finished aproximately April 1, 2001. We can later about delivery or whether I will pick it up. etc............ Talk to you soon. Pete Pete, your own letter says you would decide later whether you would have the boat delivered to Colorado or you would drive over yourself and pick her up. You decided on your own to go ahead an pick the boat up yourself. Many people decide to drive in and pick the boat up rather than wait for a truck going there way that is priced in their budget. When you told us that you would be driving in to pick up the boat and would let us know when, we did what we always do, we stored the boat and had it ready for you on your arrival date. A date of your choosing, to fit your schedule. We did the same for Vince and Sharon Himsl. They gave us an arrival date and their boat was ready to travel when they arrived. We did the same for Dudley Peterson when he and his wife picked up "Brynn" We did the same for Don Olson when he drove over from Arizona to pick up "Puffer" We did the same for Jerry Wyatt when he drove in to pick up his M_17, "Why-it" We did the same for Dave Cook when he drove in from Oregon to pick up "El Jefe" We did the same for Tom Wilkenson when he drove in to pick up "Obsessus" We did the same for C. Benson when he drove over to pick up "Grace" We did the same for Larry Viau Jr. when he and his wife Ruth drove down to pick up "Last Hurrah". (they brought peaches from their ranch, yummy....) A Montgomery 17. We did the same for Steve and Peggy McDonald when they drove down to pick up a Bronze windowed M_17 named "Dances with Waves". They picked their boat up on a Sunday. Nice people. Glad to do it even on a sunday for them or anyone else. ..and more.... Pete, you paid up front for your boat. (deposit and a couple of progress payments). Everybody does unless we have a boat in stock. So you have nothing to complain about and I don't know what the problem is. Perhaps you don't want Jerry, me and our crew to be able to build boats and/or feed our familys. Bob pete master wrote:
