Ken, Mine is sheeted off the end of the boom. I have a small bimini that the former owner installed. It works well and is out of the way. It's much like the set up on a Compac 16. btw: We're having a small group sail at Galveston this weekend. Sat/ Sun/ maybe into Mon. You guys are invited to join us. If interested / free let me know and I'll give you the specifics. take care, Randy W, M15#194 College Station, Tx
abrahams@structurex.net 06/06/02 09:25AM >>> I find that the mid sheet arrangement of the main is a real problem with more than one person in the boat. The crew is always in the way of the sheet.
What other arrangements are being used? Ken Abrahams, M15, Petite Fleur, Lake Charles, La.
Ken, Do you have a vang installed ? I've wondered about moving the downhaul to the back but thought that would put too much stress on the boom (and that the cam on the downhaul block might end up facing the wrong direction just at the wrong time). Stan M-15, #177, Carol II
