If you must wait for your Nor'sea 27 until you get to heaven, why not a new M23? They cost less than half the price (considerabley less) than a Nor'sea and have the same pedigree. Cheers. She's definitely the best sailer I've ever owned (not that there have been that many) But I'm surprised the discussion didn't include the Balboas. Lyle designed the 20, 26, and 27, I think, and while they were aimed at a different type of market & built to different standards... still, being designed by Lyle I'll bet they sail better than most. Of course, a Norsea is going to be my reward in heaven, but earthly realities prevent my ownership anytime before then. Balboas can... in theory... be had by a mortal, however. Anyone have any experience with them, good/bad/otherwise? I have spent a great deal of time checking all these options out.
