Jim, Another thing that works well is to fill your mast with styrofoam packing peanuts. Quiets the wires, and is easier to install than swim tubes. A chunk of swim tube at the bottom works as a nice cork to keep it all in there. A shop vac positioned at one end, with a screen to stop the peanuts, works real well to suck them in while you pour from the other end. What a cool idea. It would also create flotation for your mast. I used the "place 3 wire ties at at 120 degree every two feet and I have no noise. But if I were doing it again I think I'd use the peanuts.
