Thanks, everyone, for the valuable input on rigging life. I would like to submit two more questions, then I will let the matter rest. 1. Will using stainless cleaner or some other product wiped onto the wires prolong their life? 2. I already have one kinked wire (not a bad kink, and nothing approaching several in the wires I replaced last season): I'm never seen a trailerable sailboat without rigging kinks. Do kinks shorten rigging life? I imagine the kink could be a point where corrosive elements might collect . . . (?) Thanks again, Craig
