New owner of M-15 #405 which appears to have started its life in Michigan. Now in Shenandoah Valley VA, so it will spend its retirement mostly on the Chesapeake Bay and the east coast in general. Cheers! Antonio Martinez, LEED AP Middle River Studio 540-414-4782

Welcome aboard, Antonio. There are a few M boats in the East, you're not completely alone. I sail an M17 on the upper Potomac from the Washington Sailing Marina. Where are you in the Valley? Rick M17 #633 Lynne L On Thu, Sep 25, 2014 at 6:21 AM, AM <middleriverstudio@gmail.com> wrote:

I presume your M-15 was on fresh water and now will be sailing on saltwater. Having moved my M-15 from the fresh water of Lake Couer D' Alene, Idaho to the saltwater of South Puget Sound a couple of years ago I have learned that saltwater produces growing things on my hull, as well as damages my kicker motor and my trailer. I will caution you to rinse your boat and trailer thoroughly and flush your motor with freshwater every time you haul it out at a boat launch, or every week if you leave it moored in saltwater.
