Hi Bobbie, On my VW Jetta VR6 Wagon, for a light load the rear tire pressure is listed at 26 psi. For a full load, they tell you to inflate to 36 psi. With the trailer tongue weight, plus what you may have in the trunk of the car, I'd go at least 36 psi. Connie
