1985 Jerry-built M15. Offwhite hull with green sheer stripe. Pineapple Main & lapper jib, both really should be replaced. I also have the original McKibbin sails (for sizing). I have owned this boat for about 5 years or so. Since that time I have removed and rebedded the mast tabernacle, and most of the jamb cleats. I have one extra rudder blade that JO Woodworks made for me, plus the original. Tiller has Ronstan battlestick and Tiller Clutch. 2 danforth-style anchors. Normal cosmetic wear for a boat of this age. She does not have the CB rust disease. The only time the CB stuck was a couple of times when I beached her and pebbles got in there. was able to crawl underneath and hose out. All lines run aft to the cockpit. That includes a block on the bow through which you can run a jib downhaul, or use that same line to attach to the Jib halyard shackle to facilitate raising & lowering the mast singlehanded. Outboard is a Yamaha 4hp, circa 1992. Runs fine. 2-cycle, 100:1 ratio. Trailer is OK, needs occasionally touch up paint to keep rust from forming. Boat is in my garage in the Sacramento area. I am selling because I am moving in several weeks to the East Coast and would prefer not to drag the boat cross country. But if she doesn't sell before May 21st, she's coming along for the ride and then she's stuck with me ;-) My house is sold and I have to be out on May 22nd to begin my cross country trek. You can find the listing on Sailboatlistings.com, or pm me on the TrailerSailor Monty board. If you search on TwoCan you'll find a sufficient number of photos of her. This is the boat that ran the Cruiser Challenge in less than 12 parsecs. Well hardly, but with a new suit of sails and a capable skipper she has great potential. -Neil -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
Neil, Sorry to see that you're moving away. Would you consider selling the JO Woodworks blade separately, and if so what would you charge? Sincerely, Tyler M15 #157 "Defiant" Davis, CA

Neil: Hate to think of you losing that boat!! You should take her with you. Sorry to hear you are headed out of California, but perhaps your new digs east will be a new adventure and chapter in your life. Fair winds my friend. -- Daniel Rich On May 1, 2016 at 6:48:58 AM, ndorf@surfbest.net (ndorf@surfbest.net) wrote: 1985 Jerry-built M15. Offwhite hull with green sheer stripe. Neil, What is your planned destination here on the east coast? There are several M'boats and Potters in the area. I'm in Maryland near Annapolis, so we have plenty of water to sail in. It might not be a bad idea to bring you boat along, if you'll be near the water and not land locked.
