CAUTION: self-promotion follows. I've sold about 700 of my Eastport Prams, a 7'9" x 62-pound sailing dinghy. It sails unusually well, I think, and rows better than most. The twist is that you have to build it yourself from a kit! The last two issues of "Boatworks" magazine have featured the construction of an Eastport Pram; "Good Old Boat" has also written about it at length. In between rain squalls we've been assembling one in our booth at the Annapolis Boatshow. _http://www.clcboats.com/boats/eastportpram.php/_ (http://www.clcboats.com/boats/eastportpram.php/) There's an 11'7" version, the Passagemaker, featured in the current issue of "Passagemaker" magazine (not a coincidence on the name). Available in a take-apart scheme. _http://www.clcboats.com/boats/passagemakerdinghy.php/_ (http://www.clcboats.com/boats/passagemakerdinghy.php/) Cheers, John
